Additional Information
|
KUMS came into existence officially on the 7th of September, 2001 with
the goal of producing technically competent and socially responsible
physicians willing and able to deal with existing and emerging health
needs of Nepali people, especially those living in rural areas. While
the goal is worthwhile, it is also a daunting task and effective
realization of this goal demands, among other things, a sound expertise
in organizational management and academic program management. Since
these are the area where the KUMS leadership feel the need to enhance
their expertise in, the support is sought from ANMF. There is an
opportunity for training at the School of Medicine, University of New
Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
