Medical schools in Nepal suffer from a severe shortage of personnel who are qualified to teach the Basic Health Sciences. While PAHS will have a number of junior Nepali faculty members to teach these disciplines, we are seeking specialists from abroad to volunteer as senior faculty. The volunteers will teach the courses in collaboration with the Nepali faculty, and will also train the Nepali faculty to teach all aspects of the courses to enable them to become self-sufficient. Volunteers are welcome for as little as six months, or as long as they would like to stay.
