The following criteria have been established by ANMF/Nepal (America Nepal Chikitsa Pratisthan) for projects to be funded in 2007. Final criteria for 2008 will be published by January 1, 2008.

An institution/organization submitting a project proposal should be:

1. Nepali
2. Non-profit
3. Completely service oriented
4. An academic institution or a completely social working organization in the field of medicine

and the proposed project should:

1. Have a multiplying effect
2. Be sustainable
