Gaury Adhikary is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor. He worked as a medical Officer in remote Western Nepal as well as Bir Hospital in Kathmandu. Previously he was Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Anatomy and the Institute of Medicine in Kathmandu, and Assistant lecturer of Anesthesiology at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Nepal. In England he completed higher training in anesthesiology in the Department of Anaesthesia at Plymouth General Hospital in Plymouth. From there he completed a year of clinical Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Dr. Adhikary served as president of ANMF from 1998 to 2001.
